For an American principal a supplier audit program has been developed and executed.

Implementation of promotion campaign for farmhouse dairy products | 03-2010 until 03-2013

Implementation of the three-year general promotion campaign for farmhouse dairy products, including Dutch farmhouse cheese, on behalf of the 'Bond van Boerderij-Zuivelbereiders'. Responsible for creative concepts, development, implementation, supervision and evaluation of all activities and actions, among which a website, a PR-campaign, tastings in supermarkets, visits of consumers to dairy farms, POS tools such as leaflets and posters and various events. We are also in charge of budget control and financial reporting and account, required for the European subsidy.

Quality Standard and Audit Program | 03-2008 until 01-2009

A new quality standard and accompanying audit program has been developed focussed at the continuous improvement of working processes and performance.

Strategy development for increasing consumption of farmhouse dairy products | 09-2009 until 10-2009

Development of a strategic plan for a three years- campaign to increase the consumption of farmhouse dairy products and improve the image of dairy products in general by means of promoting farmhouse dairy as the ‘primal products’ of the dairy industry in a campaign aimed at specific target groups, with specific actions to improve information, attitude and buying behaviour. 

Request for European subsidy for promotion campaign | 09-2009 until 10-2009

We made a request for European subsidy for the promotion campaign aimed at increasing consumption of farmhouse dairy. The request has got a positive evaluation in Brussels; the budget for promotion of the 'Bond van Boerderij-Zuivelbereiders' has been doubled for three years successively.

Optimisation NPD-process | 01-2009 until 05-2009

For a compnay in the soups & sauce segment the NPD-process has been analysed to enable realisation of set targets in a more efficient way.

Quality to the next level | 01-2006 until 12-2008

A program has been developed and implemented to increase both quality awareness amongst personnel as well as overall quality level for a company that produces raw materials for the biopharmaceutical industry.

Optimisation Portfolio Dairy Ingredients | 07-2007 until 11-2008

For an important internationally focussed company for bakery ingredients the portfolio of dairy ingredients has been screened for quality and functionality. Recommendations for improvement have been made and projects to realise the improvements have been managed. Master specs for several crucial raw materials have been made.

Kosher certification | 03-2007 until 08-2008

Kosher certifcation has been realised for a company with production sites in the Netehrlands and Belgium. Kosher certificate by the Orthodox Union (OU).

Interim QA-manager 2006-2007 | 10-2006 until 04-2007

During a period of 6 months the position of QA-manager within a large food company has been fulfilled (8 plants, many products outsourced). Important issues in this period were the development of SLA's with a few key customers, harmonisation of the quality requirements of all outsourced activities and the optimisation of the analytical program (both internally as well as outsourced).

Reader Dairy Techmology | 08-2005 until 05-2006

For the International Dairy School in Wageningen the industrial relevance of the Dairy Technology Reader has been improved.

Optimisation whey quality | 12-2005 until 12-2006

The microbiological quality of cheese whey has been improved for a mulit-site cheese producer in the Netherlands. Project focus has been on hygienic design and hygienic processing.

Best Practice Quality Organisation | 05-2004 until 12-2004

Purpose of this project was to define a Best Practice for the organisation of quality assurance and quality control in two european countries. Best Practice was based on several aspetcs like regulatory requirements, market requirements, process complexity etc.

Low Fat Cheese | 03-2005 until 11-2005

Project management of a project to develop and market low-fat cheese (10+).

Cheese Milk Standardisation | 01-2005 until 11-2005

A project has been managed to realise a better cheese yield by standardisation of the cheese milk using membrane filtration technology.

Interim QA manager 2004 | 12-2003 until 07-2004

The QA manager's position within Campina Nederland has been fulfilled on a temporary basis (7 months). Campina Nederland was the business group wothin Campina responsible for the marketing, developmen and production of fresh dairy products of the Campina, Mona and Vifit brands. In this period the department was managed (5 direct reports), important issues were the implementation of HACCP vs 3 and the optimisation of the internal complaint handling process.
